The following are some of the people involved in our tribute album project. We are very proud to have these talented individuals as a part of this album and encourage you to visit their web sites.

Doyle Grisham - Steel

Doyle was part of Tompall & the Glaser Brothers’ Nashville Studio Band from 1970 through 1974.  He has played on Jimmy Buffett’s albums for 25 years and has been touring with him since 1999.  Throughout his career Doyle has recorded  with many successful artists including Lynn Anderson, Bill Anderson, Kenny Rogers and The First Edition, George Jones, Reba McIntire, England Dan & John Ford Coley and Randy Travis just to name a few. 

Doyle played steel for us on the following songs:  I still Love You (After All These Years), Gonna Miss Me, Home’s Where The Hurt Is, Lovin’ Her Was Easier, Mr. Lonesome and the Medley.   Doyle also did some mixing for us early on in the project.  We are very grateful for his contributions.

Tommy Detamore - Steel

Tommy is a producer, engineer and steel guitarist with Cherry Ridge Studios just outside of San Antonio, Tx.

Tommy played the steel for us on Gone Girl and Tryin’ to Outrun the Wind.  We were very pleased to include his fine musicianship.

Franck Bedez - Bass

Franck lives in France.  He records and tours throughout Europe. We made our connection with him through an online musician’s site formally called ioverdubs.com.  Franck is an excellent musician and fluent in many genres.

Franck played bass for us on Lovin’Her was Easier, Mr. Lonesome, I’ll Never Tell, I still Love You (After All These Years), and Home’s Where The Hurt Is.

Duncan Mullins - Bass

Duncan has been in the music business since 1981 and has toured with Jerry Reed, Crystal Gayle and Amy Grant. He now works full time doing studio recording.

We met Duncan through his online recording business and are privileged to have had him play bass on seven of our songs.  They are;  Where Has All the Love Gone, California Girl, the Medley, Five Penny Nickel, Tryin’ to Outrun The Wind, Gonna Miss Me and Gone Girl.

Jenee' Fleenor - Fiddle

Jenee' has toured with Terri Clark, Martina McBride and is currently touring with Blake Shelton.  Jeneé has played the Grand Ol' Opry countless times, and has made numerous television appearances, including Good Morning America, Dancing With The Stars, CMT Crossroads, and NASCAR and Superbowl concerts. 

We are extremely proud that her talented fiddle is on four of our songs.  They are: Home’s Where the Hurt Is, the Medley, Gonna Miss Me and Tryin’ to Outrun The Wind.

Scotty Huff - Trumpet

Scotty toured with The Mavericks and Keith Urban for many years and now has his own music production and arrangement company in Nashville.  Among the artists Scotty has worked with are Amanda Wilkinson, Jamie O'Neal, hit songwriter Rachel Proctor, and most recently recording artist Jake Owen. 

We were introduced to Scotty by Jenee’ Fleenor and are proud to have his trumpet playing on our song Where Has All the Love Gone.

Larry Hanson - Trumpet

Larry has worked with the following artists and groups over the years; Alabama, The Righteous Brothers, Gretchen Wilson, Jim Nabors, Mark Nesler, The Midnighters, Little Anthony and Kenny Chesney to name just a few.  He is currently on tour with Bill Medley.

We were very happy to have Larry play trumpet for us on California Girl. 

Fab Tranzer - Electric Guitars

Fab is originally from Alsace, France.  In the 90’s he played and recorded all over Europe with the likes of Wanda Jackson and Charlie McCoy.  In 2004 he moved to Mississippi, USA and spent three years playing blues with and for the locals as well as doing studio work in Nashville.  He is currently living in New York doing lots of recording session work.

We are proud to have his talented playing on four of our songs.  They are; Lovin’ Her Was Easier, Mr. Lonesome, I’ll Never Tell and I Still Love You (after All These Years)

James 'Rooster' Olson - Electric Guitars

James worked in Nashville from 1993 to 2005 and during that time he toured and recorded with many artists including Mark Chesnutt, Chely Wright, Ty Herndon, George Strait, Vince Gill, Tim McGraw, Randy Travis, Martina McBride, Alan Jackson, Lorrie Morgan and Ricky Scaggs among others.  He currently lives in Denver selling custom made pedal boards through his company ‘Trailer Trash Pedalboards’.   He continues doing studio session work and playing live.

We were privileged to have James playing electric guitar on four of our songs, which are; Home’s Where the Hurt Is, the Medley, California Girl and Gone Girl.

Keith Sewell - Banjo

Keith moved to Nashville shortly after high school and began a musical quest that has produced successful careers as both a songwriter and sideman.  Keith has toured with numerous acts including James Taylor, the Sam Bush and Jerry Douglas bands, The Dixie Chicks, Marty Stuart and Ricky Skaggs; it was Ricky who gave Keith his start with Ricky’s country band when Keith was just 19 years old.  He is currently touring with Lyle Lovett.

We were proud to have Keith play banjo for us on Where Has All The Love Gone. 

John Mattick - Piano & Organ

John played the keyboard for Alabama for ten years.  He has also worked with The Righteous Brothers, Olivia Newton John, David Lee Murphy, John Michael Montgomery and many others. He is currently doing studio and production work in his Nashville studio.

We are extremely proud to have his talented piano and Hammond B3 organ playing on four of our songs.  They are; California Girl, I’ll Never Tell, Mr. Lonesome and Home’s Where The Hurt Is. 

Ric Ulsky - Piano

Ric has worked and toured with many artists including The Association, Stevie Wonder and Chuck Berry.  He is currently doing studio work and playing the many Blues Clubs in Las Vegas.

We were very happy to have Ric play piano for us on I Still Love You (After All These Years). 

Frank Atura - Photography

Frank has nearly two decades of experience in photography and is responsible for the majority of the pictures on our various sites. More to come.

Nick Sevilla - Mixing

Nick has been working as a sound engineer for over fifteen years. His career began in Mexico City as a runner for a busy studio. He has been working in the states since 1998 and has worked with many talented artists. In 2009, Nick won a Grammy as Mixer for the album 'The Crow" which was written and performed by Steve Martin.

We were very pleased to have Sevilla Sound Services mix our album.

John Scrip - Mastering

John began engineering audio as a hobbyist in the early 1980s with his own and other area bands. John went from a 'passing interest' to intense study of the craft, sitting in with and eventually working alongside some of the most proficient mastering engineers in the area. John would ultimately create MASSIVE Mastering, tapping off the talents and gear selection he developed over the previous several years.

MASSIVE Mastering did a wonderful job on our CD.
